Call Upon God In Prayer

 Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Satan know that to destroy who we are in God that he must attack our weakest point and that is our mind.  If Satan can allow us to let our fault get out of control then he can have us turn our backs on God and join Satan in Hell.

Romans 1:28

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

If we continue in sin without repentance, the Scripture says that God will eventually give you over to a reprobate mind where your heart is so hard that you can no longer hear the Spirit Of God.

We often wonder why we are not getting closer to God or the Holy Spirit.  Sometimes we allow sin in our lives and it can eventually destroy us.

We must not allow Satan to control our thoughts.  Satan holds you in his control, and the reason you cannot believe is that you do not really want to believe.  You don't want to give control of your life to Jesus.  It would mean giving up those things in your life that the Bible condemns.

So many people live with their mind being destroyed everyday by the enemy.  Something as simple as jealousy and envy can even harm us and according to the Bible is a sin.  Sometimes people get so jealous because Peggy talked to her but not me that they allow it to destroy their mind and therefore it destroys their relationship with Jesus.

There is a way to get away from the problems that come our way.  There is a God that is bigger than anything that Satan can throw against us.

Satan uses someone in our lives to try to bully us or keep us in control.  He does his best to oppress us and keep us down so that we don't gain control of our lives.  He wants us to think about suicide.  However God is not willing to allow that to happen if we service him.

It does take us on our knees calling out to God and allowing him to change our direction in life.  Allow him to not only change our direction but, to also continue to show us the direction we should to take.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

1 Corinthians 14:33

33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Philippians 4:7

7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
