Acts 26:9-11
9 “Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things [a]contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
10 This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.
11 And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
Here we find Paul in an attempt to save his skin from King Agrippa. Paul was someone who had done all he could against people who followed Jesus because he hated them.
Now he had met Jesus and He had changed Paul life.
Did you know that God is in the life changing business? He will take that which is broken and fix it. He will take that which is bent and straighten it out. He will take what is shattered and put it back together. God is in the life changing business.
Jesus took Paul's life and changed his heart and his life into something that could be a testimony and a leader for Him. And he can do the same for you and I.
We need change in our lives. We must be will to accept change and yet keep ourselves Holy to God.
Many of our churches today are dying and many have been shut down because they have not changed with the times.
The clothes that we wear have changed.
The cars that we drive have changed.
The way our day to day lives were have changed.
Our music has changed.
Philippians 3:10
10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
We must learn to adapt without getting away from what the Bible says about how to live.
God's power can cancel your past.
God's power can remove your mistakes.
God's power can take away your regrets.
God's power can cancel your sins.
God's power can fix your car.
God's power can bring your kids home.
God's power can give you forgiveness.
God's power can heal your marriage.
God's power can heal your family.
God's power can heal your cancer.
God's power can that back.
God's power can heal that stomach problem.
God's power can heal anything that is wrong with you.
If we could only gain this power, wait we can by giving our heart to Christ.
Isaiah 40:29
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Philippians 4:13
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We must learn to lean upon God, come to God and allow him to fix us and make us whole again. We can do all things through Christ Jesus.
