Be The Father

Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

 

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

 

  1. Be A Father Who Loves God

 

  1. This is the basis upon which happiness is built.

 

  1. You must have a great relationship with God.

 

  1. If you are running from God you will never have peace.

 

Isaiah 57:21

21 There is no peace,”
Says my God, “for the wicked.”

 

  1. Be A Father Who Loves His Wife

 

  1. Real Loves meets the needs of another person.

 

  1. Showing Love is not a way of not being a man. Show your love for her by opening the car door, pull out her chair at dinner, hold her hand, or doing things around the house.

 

  1. Your sons are learning from you about how to treat their wives. They will one day treat their wife the same way.

 

  1. Be A Father Who Loves His Children

 

  1. Show your children that you love them by doing things with them are being there for them. Don't miss out on your child's childhood.

 

  1. When you are discipline is required, do it in love. Don't beat them out of anger.

 

Colossians 3:21

21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

 

  1. Children interpret the time spent with them as love.

 

  1. Be A Father That Is A Man Of Integrity

 

  1. Let your children see that you are honest.

 

  1. Back up your word.

 

  1. Be A Father Who Is A Role Model Of God

 

  1. A Godly Father shows their children to love God.

 

  1. A Godly Father prays with his children

 

  1. Dad's, you are shaping your children to be a mini you. Shape them in the way of God.
