James 5:16-18
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
- God Hears
We have a belief that God does not hear all of our prayers, however He does. God hears us and He will give us an answer.
The more we pray the better we become in Christ. Have you not ever learned a trade or something that you had to work at?
In order to know when God is talking or God is working we must know God better. Therefore the more we talk to God the closer we come to Him.
Psalm 4:3
But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly;
The Lord will hear when I call to Him.
Psalm 5:3
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly.
Another words know that God hears you and expect His answer to come. When my kids were growing up they would sometimes ask me something that I would not answer right away. Most of the time they would come around and ask me again and again expecting for me to give them an answer.
There are times (I believe) that God wants to know that we are still going to comunicate with him.

Matthew 21:21-22
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.
22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
When God act He responds in a mighty way. When we prayed for my foot to stop hurting it stopped within 72 hours.
When we prayed for my granddaughter to stop the fever it stopped immediately.
When we prayed for my Aunt Della to be healed of cancer after being told she had 2 weeks to live God healed her.
After praying for Nora to have no heart problems after she was told she did, God delivered.
God will act on our behalf if we will have faith and make our communications line strong.

Psalm 10:17-18
17 Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble;
You will prepare their heart;
You will cause Your ear to hear,
18 To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
That the man of the earth may oppress no more.
God will make us stronger if we continue to talk to Him. When I was growing up I learned to play the bass guitar. It was not because of the talent as much as it was the practice. I had to continually be practicing to learn the bass guitar. The same goes with the drums, saxophone, and the guitar.
The more you pray God will make you stronger and your communication with Him will make you stronger.
