I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
When I was a kid growing up I grew up in a time period when video were starting to roll out when I was barely a teenager. One of the first games that came out when I was a kid was pong and this is a picture of my dad and me playing my first gaming system. No.....I could not carry it in my pocket.

Now, the original game was not pong but looked the same called Tennis for Two created in 1958 played on a oscilloscope.

The next one I had was a small handheld game called Electronic Football. I remember playing this on our trips. It was a lot of fun and at that time I thought it could get no better.

Then they came out with Atari. Wow, this was an awesome system where you could spend hours play Asteroids, Pitfall, Defender, & Missile Command. Boy we were living it up.

A few years later when I became a young adult they came out with one of the biggest games that hit the market and people when nuts over it and the game. Super Mario Bros was the best where you could go into the clouds are under the water and complete level to get to the boss and eventually complete the game.
Super Mario Bros led us through several game systems and several versions of the game and is still growing strong. This is a clip of the original Super Mario Bros.

At first when we start we begin to see easier enemies with a fairly easy board. To get through the first levels and make it to the boss are pretty easy and then we have to fight the fireball shooting boss called Bowser.

Now let me bring you into the Word of God. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In Nintendo's Super Mario Bro. game you will come across Power-Up Boxes. When you hit these boxes you will get something that will help you get through the level you are on at that time.
When we give our heart to Christ we will face some enemy's that will try to take us back to serving Satan. They will try to convince us to go back to our old way of drugs, drinking, stealing or whatever that might have been. What does Philippians 4:13 say? His scripture tells me that I can get strength through Christ.
I need to remember in the hard times and the bad that God gives me the Power-Up to overcome all things that are thrown at me. When the enemy come at me I know that I can stomp on the devils head and squish him like a bug. Yea, he might come back for more but Philippians 4:13 says?

In the original Super Mario Bros. it has 32 levels before you can beat the game.
In life you will get a lot of bumps and bruises. There will be times when you do not know if you will survive, but you keep pressing forward. We have a hope and a future that God has promised us.
Jesus died on the cross for you and I and He rose again for you and I.

God said to be careful about trusting other things. Don't put your trust in your money, car, house, job or your family, but place your trust in Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6

And He shall direct your paths.
This world that we live in is looking pretty grim. I have never heard about so many people that are into satanic worship, which craft, homosexuality, and many other sins of destruction. But God give me peace, hope, and understanding that one day He is coming back and it will be soon.
Matthew 24:30
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mark 13:26
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Even the Bible says that the Son of Man will Power-Up.
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Everything is pointing to His coming soon. We have all being seeing all of the videos of what happened with the floods in Kerrville, TX and all of the other floods that have been happening lately.
I have seen a video about how the Euphrates River is drying up and they are starting to hear very scary noise coming from a underwater man made doorway that has surfaced out of the dry river bed.
The Euphrates River is mention in the first book of the Bible Genesis and in the last book of the Bible Revelations. It makes me think of the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
Revelation 16:12
Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.
There are many other things that have been going on with the war and the talks about Rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem.
As I mentioned earlier in Super Mario Bros. there is 32 levels to win the game. As you get closer to the end the game gets harder.
In our lives things have changed and serving God has only gotten harder. It is no long about honesty and morels, but about greed, meanness and hatefulness. Jesus is coming back and it is pointing to soon.
